Excellent Product
5 out of 5 stars.
When I read the reviews on this product prior to buying I thought this was exactly what I was looking for. A cordless razor you could use under water.

I absolutely love this product as it gives a very comfortable shave without ripping half your face off. In fact I even purchased a second one for my father I was so impressed.

If they had been able to include a trimmer it would have been perfect.

All in all a very high recommendation from me.

Bye bye spots!

This is the best electric shaver I've ever used, and i'm so made up I got it with the discount on Amazon. I remember this range originally coming out and wondering if i'd ever be able to splash out on, so I stuck out till the prices dropped and got this model.
It's almost perfect - waterproof, battery lasts forever, not too heavy, good moisturiser function, and a very close shave even for an electric shaver.
As you may have guessed, the marketing for this range is the moisturiser which can be ejected into your skin. I have to admit, the system works alot simpler than I imagined - there is a rubber button on the back of the shaver, and when pressed, it pumps out a small amount of cream onto your skin. Because the tiny spout is placed above the heads, this means providing you shave upwards, you get a nice experience. Some people have said that the cream doesn't last very long.. I heartedly disagree - one button press will do for my whole cheek, and vice-versa with the other side of my face. Alot of the stuff comes out, and if you keep pressing it, you just end up with a gunky face... not a clean shave, hence this is supposed to be used sparingly! This set comes with 4 cream-pouches. The only thing I would say is that if you don't both rinsing the heads out after a shave, gunk can build up in between the circular-blade sections, so do keep rinsing it out!
The best feature I feel however is the floating heads. The 3 heads float normally in their seperate sections, you can press them down etc, but then they can shape even further because each head is placed on a seperate 'section', and these sections move to the contours on your face, meaning I can get a baby-soft shave in places not possible with previous electric shavers. This contour system also means you don't 'dig' into your skin, it just glides around.
As I said, it is waterproof, so if you feel like copying the bloke off the advert, their is a hanging cord allowing you to keep it next to the shower, as well as a little pouch with a netty material. Shame no-one is around to film me pulling odd laughs and smiles as I glide the shaver across my face... why do they do that on those ads?? Gillette are the worst!
All in all this is un-beatable value. The shaving is comfortable and close, and excellent for young people like me who have spot-prove skin. Its hygienic as you can wash it throughly, and it makes me feel alot more confident than using my £15 travel Phillishave! Top marks Philips

Best shaver by far
5 out of 5 stars.
This is without doubt the best shaver I have ever bought. battery life is just phenomenal. Although I agree with the reviewer who states king of shaves is just as good the coolskin sachets are worth the money. Good as a dry shave but comparable with a wet razor without the cuts!

Very good but not perfect!
5 out of 5 stars.
I decided to try an electric shaver because razor shavers used to cut my skin leaving me with red patches on my face, especially when I was shaving in the morning. I have used razor shavers whole my life and never intended to use electric ones. However, I gave a chance to an electric one and I have to say that I am NOT disappointed!!

First of all, it does not cut the skin. The shaving takes slightly less time and you can relax while shaving. The best part of it is that you can use shaving cream so it makes you feel fresh. Also, cleaning is easy; just use running water and soap!!

You can buy cartridges with a shaving moisturiser but it is not necessary if you are going to use shaving gel or foam. It works as good.

I am happy with the shaver but I have to admit that shaving is not as close as after razor shaver. However, the difference is minimal and invisible on the surface of the skin.

Therefore, I definitely recommend this shaver as it saved me from lots of pain and blister. The results are comparable to razors and no cuts!!!!

great for the price why pay more unless you are a metrosexual

I got my new philips HQ6707 shaver today jumpped in the shower and shaved off over 10 days of growth ! no razer burn perfect smooth face after ! I did this without even charging it ! so I fully expect it will be even better after a full charge !! why pay anymore ? I have used my brothers £150 + philips coolskin and it wasnt any better apart from the fact it charges in 1 hour instead of 8 but with one charge lasting 40+ mins I will only have to charge it once a week over nite. Really surpised how well it work I have been caught out buying cheap before but in this case I beleive I have found a real bargin. Best of all it cost less then a set of replacment heads for most elec shavers !! buy one you wont be let down for £35 !!
